Casa Celeste – Pizzeria – Potrero

World Class Chef, best Pizza in all of Guanacaste and some of the best authentic Italian dinning right here in the Playa Flamingo-Playa Potrero area. Casa Celeste Pizzeria is one of those hidden gems that the locals flock too on a regular basis. The restaurant has in indoor feeling but it’s totally out doors. The staff are friendly and proud of their work environment as they serve customers with a warm Costa Rican smile and cold cocktail of choice and a mouth water dish cooked before their eyes in an open brick oven.

The Beach House Restaurant

Another popular establishment for vacation renters who visit Flamingo beach, Potrero and surf-side.

The view from the patio is as good as it gets when it comes to dinning on the beach. Great food, good size portions, friendly staff, very reasonable prices the Beach House has managed to mix the best of the both western and local cultures into their menu and service. My favorite is the ceviche. Check out their menu and specials, you won’t be disappointed The owners Terry and Maureen interact with the patrons adding a little personal touch to their proud establishment.

Potrero Famers Market

There’s no doubt that Costa Rica farmers grow the best fruit and vegetables along with other produce. The rich fertile soil produces organic fruit and vegetables that taste fresh and have that farmers market flavor and color. You can tell it has just been picked out of the ground or tree not too long ago and hasn’t traveled thousands of miles. Another wonderful thing about Costa Rica is you can grab a coconut almost anywhere –there’s nothing like cold coconut water pipa fria – also there are plenty of lime trees around and you can make you own fresh lime juice!

So when you come to Costa Rica and if you’re a person who is really into fruits and vegetables and other organic produce visit a local farmers market, if you are vacationing in Playa Flamingo, Playa Conchal, Playa Potrero, Playa Brasilito come join us the Potrero famers market every Thursday. It easy to find take the Potrero road from Playa Flamingo all the way to where it becomes a T intersection. Turn left go about 200 meters, turn left and the Potrero Famers Market will on the left just before the beach.
The Famers Market also has fresh fish, cookies, cakes, bread, and clothing, flip flops, soda, art work, bracelets and necklaces, craft work, books and many other interesting things for sale. Lastly, what better way to meet locals and vacationers while you check out the what’s for sale at the Potrero Farmers market

CoCo LoCo Beach Restaurant

A home run, not only a favorite of the locals but also Flamingo beach vacation renters.

The food is amazing; the view is amazing the coco loco cocktail will make you feel amazing. Coco Loco’s is located in the middle of the white sand Flamingo Beach. Perfect for cocktails, bocas, fresh fish all of which are fairly priced and delicious, the staff is friendly and fun also. The location is perfect for a sunset dinner or a beautiful spot for lunch.

Angelina’s Restaurant & Bar

When searching for real estate the three things you need to know are location, location, and location.

When searching for a great restaurant in Playa Flamingo you need to know what makes that restaurant stand out. Quality, quality, and quality is the only way to describe Angelina’s an upscale restaurant located in the heart of Flamingo and walking distance to many condos and luxury villas. The staff are gracious, warm, welcoming and bilingual. This is a venue for locals and visitors alike who are vacationing or renting at Playa Flamingo. The fish is fresh and prepared to perfection, great salads the peach ricotta and stuffed raviolis are decadent. This is a MUST visit restaurant when visiting Playa Flamingo

Estero Azul Beach

If you are looking for an authentic Tico beach front restaurant then Estero Azul is a must visit.

Located on the black sand beach of Play Potrero Estero Azul has a magnificent view of the bay, fishing boats and Mountains. The FBVR staff highly recommends this local establishment as they are frequent visitors. The red snapper is fresh, caught the night before, generous portions, vegetables and fruits are locally grown and Estero Azul has the coldest beer in all of Flamingo. Add this restaurant to your bucket list you won’t be disappointed.

Marie’s Restaurant

Parked in the middle of Flamingo plaza Marie’s is a destination point.

Every community has an anchor restaurant that is active in promoting local bands, organizing and managing social events for vacationers and locals alike. Marie’s restaurant is that restaurant. The staff is bilingual and are consistent with friendly service provided is a clean and relaxed atmosphere. Marie’s is a good mixture of traditional breakfast that one would find in US/Canada or Europe or Costa Rica.

Steps from Costa Rica’s most famous beach Playa Flamingo Marie’s is a favorite stop off when coming or going from your condo, villa or resort. Marie herself will greet you and is always willing to interact with her patrons

Tiki’s Bar & Grill

Another on of our staff’s favorite places to dine and relax.

Located in Brasilito across the street from the beach a 10 minute drive or less to Flamingo this is a must visit. The food is a mixture of American and local dishes, good size portions, icy cold beer and sunsets that look like post cards. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. There is a local market, gift and souvenir shops and hotels all within walking distance. There’s even a surf break if you want to catch some waves and work up an appetite before you hit Tiki’s. Make your vacation complete and visit Tik’s bar and grill!
